Swiss Design Brochure
Challenge: create a folded brochure showcasing a specific design movement or style using images and text appropriate for the style, describing key features and designers from the movement.
Idea: Pulling inspiration from influential pieces in the movement, I wanted to make a bold and colorful brochure that uses shapes and lines to easily guide the flow of the brochure.
Concept: I chose the International Typographic Style for my movement, and used Poster for Juni-Festwochen Zürich (1957) by Josef Müller-Brockmann and Konstruktiv Grafik (1958) by Hans Neuburg as inspiration for the brochure. I enjoyed the challenge of formatting a lot of text and images while still keeping everything large enough to be easily read.
