Challenge: Design all assets needed for a hypothetical custard festival in Milwaukee. 

Idea:  When I think of custard, I think of Culver’s. Their logo is now known nationwide, and uses a swirly script that looks classy and timeless. I really wanted to lean into that hand-drawn script, so using the pencil tool I created my own script font based off of Filmotype LaSalle. My other favorite custard shop is Kopp’s, who require all of their employees to wear the traditional paper hats and bowties. 

Concept: Based off of the 1950’s ice cream and custard parlors, the Scoop MKE Festival will have a custard paper hat as the logo and a swirly script to signify how custard has been a Milwaukee staple since the 1950’s. Paper hats will be handed out for free at the festival which will serve as a fun souvenir as well as a great way to advertise.
